#037 Risk responsibly: Focusing on small incremental steps, being grateful and embracing what scares you

This week I share a wonderful conversation I had Danny Covey on the show. Danny has faced many battles in his life. He underwent eight heart surgeries. He has nearly died on the operating table three times, and was repeatedly told he would never physically excel. And yet, after much blood, sweat, tears, and prayer, he fulfilled an unimaginable childhood dream.

The fact that he is alive and well, and has achieved what many believed to be impossible, is a miraculous story that I’m excited for him to share with us about and for us all to learn from.

What you’ll hear about:

  • Finding what gives you inspiration

  • Accepting you’ll never know why some things happen

  • Accepting what you can learn from an experience

  • Don’t take No for an answer

  • Risk responsibly

  • Building resilience as a parent

  • What can I do today that I couldn’t do yesterday

  • Be grateful for what you have

  • Embrace what scares you

  • Life is unpredictable …. Face it!

Weekly Challenge : Do something that scares you this week and write down what you’re grateful for
